Alas, Life-In-Death is proving the most difficult to create. She is incomplete, but, she won't be for much longer!
This is a shot of her face with a basic hairline; as you can see, I stayed true to the fact that her skin is "white as leprosy"!!

Ancient Mariner characters in progress
This is the Mariner with only skin and an outline of hair.
This is the unfinished Mariner, with half a head full of hair!
This is the back of the Mariner's head - he now has proper hair!!
Here is the Mariner's complete face!
Profile shot of the Mariner's face.
This is Death, believe it or not! I later built up the skull over the black - this is how I achieved the blackness in the eye-sockets and the mouth and nose.
That is more like it! Death's complete skull.
The Ancient Mariner getting some features!

Mariner Puppets
Well, I have decided, after a lot of consideration, that I am going ahead with the Ancient Mariner! I have already created my young Mariner, and I am halfway through creating Death himself. I am also in the process of sewing clothes for all of them.
I had a LOT of trouble creating a skull.... watching endless videos of Corpse Bride and analysing hundreds of pictures of skulls on Google finally enabled me to create the desired shape! But it took a lot of plastecine, frustration, time and energy to do so!
The Ancient Mariner and Life-in-Death are not ready yet.... I know that creating Life-in-Death will be the most difficult, as she is so beautiful and so delicate - it is much easier to create swarthy sailors than it is to create gamine women! But still.... I soldier on!
My creation videos and photographs (shots and films of the models before, during, and after design) will be uploaded within the next day or so... then you can see what they look like!
